Reflective Workshops
We all know that reflection is a core skill that aspiring clinical psychologists must develop on the road to becoming a clinical psychologist. And like all skills, reflection requires practice! Our Reflective Workshops are designed to provide you with safe spaces to do just that- hone your skills of reflection! Our Reflective Workshops are facilitated by supervised trainee or qualified psychologists and focus around specific clinical psychology related topics, which help you to anchor your reflections down!
Our longest running monthly live event, our Reflective Workshops are a staple of Aspiring Clinical Psych. During the Reflective Workshop sessions you will:
- Receive teaching on a clinical psychology topic (in the past we've covered the biopsychosocial approach, the Power Threat Meaning Framework, Systems Theory and many, many more).
- Consider the topic in relation to case vignettes, clinical practice and your values.
- Engage in discussion, prompting reflections both in and out of the session.
You will also have the opportunity to ask the facilitator, a trainee or qualified psychologist, questions about their own experiences of the topic in discussion. Regular facilitated learning does not have to end, just because you are not in formal education! Join our Reflective Workshops, and keep the focused learning going!

Pay it Forward Scheme
The Pathfinder membership is part of the Aspiring Clinical Psych Pay it Forward Scheme. This means that for each membership sold, we will offer a discounted membership to an Aspiring Clinical Psych Pay it Forward Scheme Member.
